shu uemura haute street collection

shu uemura’s haute street Autumn 2015 colour collection is an explosion of colour in a season of neutrals. The Japanese artistry brand proves that vibrant shades of turquoise, lime and fuchsia look good any season when placed carefully. That was what made Mr. Shu Uemura so exceptional in Hollywood. His technique was so exact and precise, he was able to use wild colour in such a controlled manner. The results were breathtaking.

shu uemura haute street imageYou’ll see the perfect illustration of this exacting technique in the model image for the fall collection. She’s wearing pink, yellow and turquoise eyeshadow at once but it is such a small amount, it looks perfectly tasteful. Our pro makeup artist friend Nina Westbury always says that anyone can wear colour. It is just how you place it and how much you use.

Here are the star products of the collection. These are the items I think that really stand out.

I love this selection – the colours are much brighter & more fun compared to the glut of neutral palates which are available.

Love the pop of colours in this collection & the dual-ended eye colour is just ace. Mind you, as a person of a certain age, i’d have to be careful when using these colours, but they scream fun! @hary_fgob

I like that the colours are split into cool and warm for different skin tones. Not sure about coloured eye pencils though, I think they look a bit childish.

Happy colours! Although I like all the colours I would be careful and use only a small amount of the more colourful eyeshadows.
