shu uemura haute street collection

shu uemura’s haute street Autumn 2015 colour collection is an explosion of colour in a season of neutrals. The Japanese artistry brand proves that vibrant shades of turquoise, lime and fuchsia look good any season when placed carefully. That was what made Mr. Shu Uemura so exceptional in Hollywood. His technique was so exact and precise, he was able to use wild colour in such a controlled manner. The results were breathtaking.

shu uemura haute street imageYou’ll see the perfect illustration of this exacting technique in the model image for the fall collection. She’s wearing pink, yellow and turquoise eyeshadow at once but it is such a small amount, it looks perfectly tasteful. Our pro makeup artist friend Nina Westbury always says that anyone can wear colour. It is just how you place it and how much you use.

Here are the star products of the collection. These are the items I think that really stand out.

I’d wear them – in fact they’re not as bright as some of the colours I wore in the 80s! I particularly love the cool x chic (but I’d probably mix across both ranges depending on the look I wanted to achieve) @essexgal65

I personally LOVE this collection- I usually wear a lot of black, and make-up is a great way of incorporating colour!

Normally would steer clear of brights, but the model looks great, I have been looking for something new. The haute street eyeshadow palette in cool x chic would play up my hazel eyes. Yes, I would try these. @FJMaris
