shu uemura’s haute street Autumn 2015 colour collection is an explosion of colour in a season of neutrals. The Japanese artistry brand proves that vibrant shades of turquoise, lime and fuchsia look good any season when placed carefully. That was what made Mr. Shu Uemura so exceptional in Hollywood. His technique was so exact and precise, he was able to use wild colour in such a controlled manner. The results were breathtaking.
You’ll see the perfect illustration of this exacting technique in the model image for the fall collection. She’s wearing pink, yellow and turquoise eyeshadow at once but it is such a small amount, it looks perfectly tasteful. I like the modern, fun and forward way of thinking that Shu Euemura offers us. For myself, I would choose the cool colours as I think they’d suit my eye colour best. Then again the warm colours are also lovely. I often wearing peachy shades and these colours are lovely too. So, I guess I’m saying I would probably wear both. It would be fun to experiment with different looks and even combining both palettes. It is truly customizable. Love it!
