Your best brows

Your best brows (win this set of Sourcils) Since 1991, Dior’s Sourcils Poudre has been an insider secret of beauty editors. The professional pencils, which combine the definition of a wax with the finish of a powder, make grooming and defining brows simple and quick.

“Sourcils Poudre is the accessory no woman can do without for a beautifully defined brow arch,” says Dior’s Peter Philips. “With its two new ash shades and a texture that blends seamlessly with the skin, it fills in any sparse areas and sculpts the brow to a denser shape, which is essential to facial harmony.”

This month, Dior introduces two new ash shades, more suited to blonde or light brown tones. Fill in sparse brows with the pencil end and groom with the brush on the other. It even comes with a Dior sharpener.

I gave away this set of Dior brow pencils to one lucky reader who commented below. Big congrats to Leslie F from the U.S. I drew her name from all those who commented below.

Do not pluck out the gray hairs. Instead use brown pencils and set with clear gel or buy a tinted gel to cover them. I tried a YSL one and liked it very much.

I set them with a clear gel. This helps a lot for those with darker brows! @mckenna_1444

Best tip for brows, wax between! There should be no connecting brows! Color inside and feather to the outside.

Brows to me are the most important part of your look. They can make you or break you. Never overpluck. Keep them neat and defined . @Julianna2221 (twitter) This set is awesome. I would love it.

Make rosewater ice cubes to rub on the brows after a plucking session. Soothes the irritation and redness. @SUEME700

My best tip from experience is Do not over pluck your eyebrows! The wide eyed look touted on the runways in years gone by twice can be permanent! And like most fashion things tends to repeat itself stat far away! So I really could use this set. Just spend a while searching for the right pencil did not find it. Hoping for these xxoo @angelehm holey brows batman!

Don’t over pluck – 1 in 10 over plucked eye brows will not grow back! This is why Accidenr/Emergency do not shave eye brows if stitches are needed in this area!!

Everyone has unique brows and I think most people do well with grooming naturally, using powder in tiny strokes to fill in sparse areas and setting with a gel if you have unruly browns. If you’re not sure, get them done professionally. Don’t try to rock a unibrow. If your kids have one, get rid of it early on too. Kids will be mean. Basically, don’t do anything to make people say “OMG what happened to your eyebrows?” Don’t end up on a Reddit collection of wacky brows and pretty much avoid looking like Siouxsie Sioux circa the 1980s. Also, if your brows are polished, you can get away with minimal eye makeup on busy days, so I’d say they are more important to framing your face than contouring or tightlining, but that’s just me. But do not take a giant black pencil and draw on cartoon brows, unless it’s Halloween! 🙂

Don’t pluck too much! Thicker brows are in and super thin is way to harsh and hard to correct. @coconouveau

I once heard that your brows are sisters not twins. Don’t try to pluck /groom them to be identical – go for the same colour and a similar shape and be your unique you!

best tip for the brows is to not over pluck! it’s so easy to get carried away with the tweezers but people need to learn when enough is enough!

Keep it natural. Don’t over-tweeze. Don’t use a heavy hand with any brow products. Do use a clean mascara spoolie to brush in/distribute product to soften any edges. @ProductGalYVR
