Your best brows

Your best brows (win this set of Sourcils) Since 1991, Dior’s Sourcils Poudre has been an insider secret of beauty editors. The professional pencils, which combine the definition of a wax with the finish of a powder, make grooming and defining brows simple and quick.

“Sourcils Poudre is the accessory no woman can do without for a beautifully defined brow arch,” says Dior’s Peter Philips. “With its two new ash shades and a texture that blends seamlessly with the skin, it fills in any sparse areas and sculpts the brow to a denser shape, which is essential to facial harmony.”

This month, Dior introduces two new ash shades, more suited to blonde or light brown tones. Fill in sparse brows with the pencil end and groom with the brush on the other. It even comes with a Dior sharpener.

I gave away this set of Dior brow pencils to one lucky reader who commented below. Big congrats to Leslie F from the U.S. I drew her name from all those who commented below.

Fill in with a light hand (do NOT colour them in) – don’t use a colour darker than your brows to do so AND follow your natural shape.

See a professional at least once so they can give you a good shape. Not everyone has naturally lush brows but a nice clean shape looks polished and will frame your beautiful eyes! Then choose a powder or pencil slightly lighter than you think you need…a big mistake I often see is too dark drawn on brows!

i use a fine end, make little tiny whispy strokes to make it look like brow hair, first i brush the hair upward and in the shape that i want, then use the pencil, the brush again. @evietressa

I don’t pluck or wax my brows myself and go to the professionals to do it. Also always use a brow brush!

Even as a redhead- avoid products that have any red undertones as they can bring a pink-ish halo above your eyes. Try a shade advertised for blondes.

When tweezing go SLOW! Too often people go crazy and then end up with messed up brows. Take your time and get it right.
