Your best brows

Your best brows (win this set of Sourcils) Since 1991, Dior’s Sourcils Poudre has been an insider secret of beauty editors. The professional pencils, which combine the definition of a wax with the finish of a powder, make grooming and defining brows simple and quick.

“Sourcils Poudre is the accessory no woman can do without for a beautifully defined brow arch,” says Dior’s Peter Philips. “With its two new ash shades and a texture that blends seamlessly with the skin, it fills in any sparse areas and sculpts the brow to a denser shape, which is essential to facial harmony.”

This month, Dior introduces two new ash shades, more suited to blonde or light brown tones. Fill in sparse brows with the pencil end and groom with the brush on the other. It even comes with a Dior sharpener.

I gave away this set of Dior brow pencils to one lucky reader who commented below. Big congrats to Leslie F from the U.S. I drew her name from all those who commented below.

My best tip for brows is to get them done once professional (tweezed, waxed, threaded..) and then maintain it yourself. So basically you’ll have great brows for the rest of your life if you’re good at maintaining!

Oh wow, this is perfect for my kit! My best tip is always go light on the inside of the brow, and work it out darker on the outside AND stop plucking on the inside! Natural and bold brows all the way.

My eyebrows are thin and starting to get a little grey. I use a brow pencil and finish with a powder and it looks natural.

My favourite brow tip is to mimick the direction of hairs when filling it in with light gentle strokes so it doesn’t look too harsh. @j16tso

Don’t go out of the lines if you want them to look polished but natural. Also, you can use clear mascara instead of brow gel to set them!

I used to get my eyebrows waxed, but now what is left is so grey, I need to start with the eyebrow pencils. My wonderful bff is patiently teaching me what I need to do.

Light strokes and a good run through with the brow brush. Can build but still keeping it fairly natural. @lkotyrba

My best tip for brows is to use gentle strokes, almost barely touching the skin. Gentle and small strokes to mimic real brow hairs. Follow this with applying a small highlighter powder or cream under the arch bone to create a lift. These Dior pencils appear to be the perfect size for precision!! Also the range of colours look wonderful, especially when doing makeup on others. Brows can be so tricky!

I have them waxed professionally and then I just follow the line with an excellent tool like Sourcils -no variation – then I look lovely @Happygidge

As Dave would say and I have learned, less is more! I have full eyebrows I brush and fill in than hairspray my comb and gently comb over. But now I’ve discovered a wonderful new product wax! 🙂
