shu uemura’s haute street Autumn 2015 colour collection is an explosion of colour in a season of neutrals. The Japanese artistry brand proves that vibrant shades of turquoise, lime and fuchsia look good any season when placed carefully. That was what made Mr. Shu Uemura so exceptional in Hollywood. His technique was so exact and precise, he was able to use wild colour in such a controlled manner. The results were breathtaking.
You’ll see the perfect illustration of this exacting technique in the model image for the fall collection. She’s wearing pink, yellow and turquoise eyeshadow at once but it is such a small amount, it looks perfectly tasteful. Our pro makeup artist friend Nina Westbury always says that anyone can wear colour. It is just how you place it and how much you use.

September 17, 2015 at 5:31 pmThese are definitely colours I’d wear, and I like that the eyeshadow palettes are balanced with some blender colours. I must say though I’m also not keen on that pink and yellow (warm x vibrant) eyeliner, I can’t think that would really flatter on any eye.

I would have to say that I love both eye shadow collections, as they both have colors that can be toned down enough for work and also playful enough for evenings out. The lip glosses and eye liners as well. I love to experiment with color, and push the limits just as far as I can, I am not always sure how my boss feels about it, but I have to be me. And I am bold, playful and most of all a woman that is going to push the limits as far as I can. So, in closing…the make-up collection is AWESOME…and would continue to let me be me.

Figures, just as I’m at my poorest, Shu comes out with one of their best collections. Usually in a collection, there are only a few items that I love and really want but with this collection, I want it all. I’d wear every color and if you love color as compared to the nude look, then she uemura is the brand for you especially this particular collection. I’m blown away.
