shu uemura’s haute street Autumn 2015 colour collection is an explosion of colour in a season of neutrals. The Japanese artistry brand proves that vibrant shades of turquoise, lime and fuchsia look good any season when placed carefully. That was what made Mr. Shu Uemura so exceptional in Hollywood. His technique was so exact and precise, he was able to use wild colour in such a controlled manner. The results were breathtaking.
You’ll see the perfect illustration of this exacting technique in the model image for the fall collection. She’s wearing pink, yellow and turquoise eyeshadow at once but it is such a small amount, it looks perfectly tasteful. Our pro makeup artist friend Nina Westbury always says that anyone can wear colour. It is just how you place it and how much you use.
Here are the star products of the collection. These are the items I think that really stand out.
haute street eyeshadow palette in cool x chic
haute street eyeshadow palette in warm x vibrant
rouge unlimited lipstick in city neon
rouge unlimited lipstick in brick burgundy
dual-ended eye colour pencil in cool x chic
dual-ended eye colour pencil in warm x vibrant
tint in gelato lip colour in urban coral

September 19, 2015 at 1:32 pmThese colors are a little vivid for me… I am not sure how I would make them look good lol…. There is one light pink that I see in the palette on the left (in the top, giveaway pic) that I wear normally. everything else I do not currently wear….although I try reds and usually they do not work.

September 19, 2015 at 11:42 amI love how different the colours are from the usual fall go-tos of neutrals and more neutrals. The pinks and oranges especially seem like they’d go well with fall–there are so many vibrant colours out in nature!

September 18, 2015 at 6:55 pmI like the warmth of the tones, especially the eyeshadow colours that are perfect for autumn. The lipsticks look very classy and expensive, and the double-ended pencils are a great idea. This is a collection any woman would be delighted to have. Fingers crossed.

September 18, 2015 at 5:00 pmI think they’re fantastic! Makeup should be fun, not boring. I’m OVER all the naked this and barely there that. I want people to know I’m wearing makeup when I do! God knows i spend enough time putting it on and enough money on it to let people know I’m not afraid to say I did NOT wake up like this, I DID this! And I’m rocking it all day and night, very well I might add! @BaBy_J_55

September 18, 2015 at 2:39 amWow, they look gorgeous! But they’re not for everyone. You need to have a certain braveness to be able to pull off a look using these colors.
