Backstory: Each summer, Dominic Dolce and Stefano Gabbana create limited editions summer versions of their wildly popular Light Blue scents. Each is inspired by Capri, one of the duo’s favourite vacation destinations

New olfactory approach: The 2019 SUN editions explore a new scent territory: warm, senual and sunny.

Light Blue SUN Pour Femme: Expect to experience a new sunny, sensual quality to Light Blue Pour Femme with notes of Granny Smith apple, coconut water, tangy Italian lemon, crisp sea spray accord, jasmine, white rose, aromatic cedarwood and ambrosial amber with Bourbon vanilla.

Light Blue SUN Pour Homme: The iconic woody-spicy men’s fragrance is giving a splash of freshness and blanket of warmth. The notes include: Italian bergamot, juicy frozen grapefruit, ginger, ozonic accord, cedarwood, cypress, aromatic rosemary, refreshing coconut water, woody oakmoss, vetiver and vanilla.

Famous faces: Bianca Balti and David Gandy star in the 2019 ad campaign

The packaging: The Light Blue SUN boxes appear to be hand-painted Italian frescoes with a bold smiling sun on a cloud-free blue sky.
