One of the luxe beauty brands that is exciting me most these days is Burberry Beauty. I had the opportunity to interview Wendy Rowe, the UK celeb makeup artist that works with Christopher Bailey creating each new collection. She talked about “effortless elegance”. That is how Bailey sees Burberry Beauty. So you’ll notice that each limited edition includes a nude colour story and one with more dramatic colour like Military Red or Oxblood. The quality of the formulas is very good and the packaging modern and sleek. Here’s the story behind the holiday collection.

Gold Touch: This multi-use, pearlescent cream highlighter adds a delicate golden glow to eyes, lips and cheeks.
Focus lips: Keep the complexion neutral and play up your lips in either Parade Red or Gold Shimmer. Golden gloss applied over red lipstick creates a beautiful coral effect with dimension. It’s stunning!

The festive glow of gold and the pop of red both in lip and nails is perfect for the holiday season. Women can look and feel as elegant and festive as Burberry’s line aspires its beauty collection to harbour both.
Aside from the quality of Burberry’s products themselves, I love the how it’s incorporated its classic and famous check pattern in its casing. The gold packaging only emphasizes the “gold” hue of this collection as well as its “gold”-rated quality.
It’s gorgeous and any woman would be privileged to add such a high-end and high quality product to her collection.
Of course, this Burberry Beauty set deserves a 10!
