French luxury brand Guerlain has partnered with Parisian embroidery studio Baqué Molinié to celebrate the bee in a truly couture manner. The renowned studio that collaborates with the most eminent artisans has reinterpreted the bee, the symbol of the House of Guerlain.

Skilled artists craft the bee in red and gold pearls over a velvet sheath decorated with a red fishnet honeycomb design.

It’s a nod to the exquisite talent of French fashion artisans who craft works of art. Not surprisingly, each Rouge G lipstick and case is individually numbered and housed in a unique set to form the ultimate gift.

In 1828, upon the opening of his first boutique, Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain created his first liquid product for adding colour to the lips and cheekbones, titled “Bloom of Rose.” This was followed in 1870 by the House’s first lip colour in stick form, Ne M’oubliez pas, meaning ‘Never Forget Me”. It began an expertise in lipstick formulations that continues to this day.
