Your best brows

Your best brows (win this set of Sourcils) Since 1991, Dior’s Sourcils Poudre has been an insider secret of beauty editors. The professional pencils, which combine the definition of a wax with the finish of a powder, make grooming and defining brows simple and quick.

“Sourcils Poudre is the accessory no woman can do without for a beautifully defined brow arch,” says Dior’s Peter Philips. “With its two new ash shades and a texture that blends seamlessly with the skin, it fills in any sparse areas and sculpts the brow to a denser shape, which is essential to facial harmony.”

This month, Dior introduces two new ash shades, more suited to blonde or light brown tones. Fill in sparse brows with the pencil end and groom with the brush on the other. It even comes with a Dior sharpener.

I gave away this set of Dior brow pencils to one lucky reader who commented below. Big congrats to Leslie F from the U.S. I drew her name from all those who commented below.

Do not over pluck! And also don’t use the razors… Your eyebrows will come out terribly thin! @helloharleyblog

Fill in brows with a couple of different shades. I’d love to try these two new brown shades.

Always wear a style of brows that suit your face. If it makes you look good, its always in style.

I always shape my brows by brushing them straight up first and then brushing them into place, with a light spritz of hairspray on the brush. They hold their shape longer that way. 😀

Best tip is DON’T over do it on the plucking! Please never ever shave them off either! Sometimes they don’t grow back! 😉

my best tip is to not over tweeze your eyebrows and to use a comb to keep any stray eyebrow hairs in place.

if you have over plucked your brows use castor oil. It will help them grow back! @Theodora28A

Avoid following eyebrow trends such as super thin brows as you’ll end up in trouble when the trend changes! Trends always change, that’s their nature. Stick to a brow shape that suits your face – remember the brow frames the face and should not overtake your features or go the opposite way and provide no frame at all. The wrong brow shape or colour can also be ageing so getting it right is super important.

To tame brows and keep them in place use a clear mascara over them

get a expert to do them for you, at least the first time and every few months… leave them really natural and never try to change your original shape too much cause it won’t probably suit you anyway… fill them a bit where needed with a pencil with a powder effect (not like a kohl) and brush them up and out!

Trim long brow hairs instead of tweezing them; tweezing them can cause gaps or create a patchy appearance 🙂

My best tip for brows is to keep them nicely tapered, not too much but must still be done a little here and there.
