Would you try designer toothpaste?

Would you try designer toothpaste? By the time my God son Dylan was 7 years old, he had 9 fillings, two crowns and a bridge – all on baby teeth. I’m pretty sure his parents sent his dentist and the entire office to Hawaii at Christmas considering how much they spent on his dental work. We wondered how the dentist suddenly could afford an Audi TT. His mother tried everything to get him to brush his teeth. She bought him a Spider Man “toothbrushing” cape, an electronic toothbrush and a special step to have easier access to the sink. The big problem was that he didn’t like the toothpaste flavours. “I don’t like anything that is ‘minty’”, he told me matter of fact. For that reason, his parents were forced to scour the web looking for alternative flavours. (If someone had made Captain Crunch flavoured toothpaste, they’d have made a fortune.) It’s too bad Dylan hadn’t heard of Marvis, a luxe beauty company that crafts designer toothpaste.

“Original, aromatic mixtures provide new, exquisite sensations that transform a simply daily gesture into a moment of pure pleasure,” says the website description. “This evolution is based on a traditional processing method that guarantees a dense, compact texture, the maximum protection, an unmistakably fresh sensation and an extraordinary whitening effect.” The brand takes inspiration from the art and fashion worlds in its formulations and packaging. It is originally from Florence, Italy.

Here are the star Mavis toothpaste flavours:

Designer toothpaste… Personally I think Marvis is extremely overrated. Other than its “design” and flavours, there is nothing ingredient wise that sets it apart from the rest. I’ve purchased this for my BF as a stocking stuffer. The jasmine mint is awful. But to each their own! If I win this, it’ll be someone’s present 😉 @bonnieisabella

The Jamine Mint sounds lovely. I brush my teeth several times a day, so yes, I would use them, but doubt they would replace my Crest 3D White entirely. I like a fluoride paste and have made it into my late 40s without a single cavity, so obviously I’m doing something right in my choices so far! @goldmeteor

I would love to try these, especially the whitening mint. I’ve just bought my first ever electric toothbrush too, so this toothpaste would be a wonderful start for my new dental hygiene routine. Fingers and toes crossed! @Twinkley1981
