    Did you know that 95% of new fragrances that launc Did you know that 95% of new fragrances that launch do not make it to their tenth anniversary? Fragrance is one of the most competitive categories in all retail with more than 700 new scents launching each year. So it is a remarkable achievement that Nina Ricci’s Nina is celebrating its 20th birthday this month. The original fruity-floral fragrance for her was composed by perfumers Olivier Cresp, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Christian Dussooulier who skillfully blended notes of Amalfi Lemon, lime, Granny Smith Apple, praline, vanilla, sweet peony, moonflower, white cedar and musk. It was housed in a bright red apple-shaped bottle. Since then, there have been numerous additions to the collection including a new eau de parfum with a creamy pistachio note. A portion of sales from the limited edition makeup collection will benefit Lion Guardians and its important conservation work protecting lions in Kenya. This acclaimed wildlife conservation charity, founded in 2006, hires and trains Maasai warriors in Kenya and across Africa to protect free-roaming lions and mitigate human-wildlife conflict. #davelackiebeauty

The amber floral fragrance for her layered notes of bergamot, red berries, lily, ylang-ylang, jasmine, meringue, musk and patchouli to beautiful effect. This month sees a new addition to the Divine family, Divine Couture. It’s a floral-fruity-gourmand that blends notes of raspberry, citrus, solar notes, meringue, ylang-ylang, geranium, calone, jasmine, benzoin, pine tree, vanilla and amber. It’s more floral than the original with a crisper fruit top note. Nicely done. #davelackiebeauty
