‘Tis the season for incredible skincare discovery kits. And I’m thrilled to have a pair of my favourites to give away on my blog. American skincare brand Origins was one of the first prestige skincare brands to incorporate natural ingredients into its formulas. This was a pretty revolutionary idea in 1990 but has become crucial to many savvy skincare enthusiasts in 2022. Origins is now recognized as a “Clean” beauty brand at Sephora meeting all of its stringent requirements. It’s even vegan-friendly. I’ve been a fan of it for years.

December 2, 2022 at 10:42 pmWell, it’s almost impossible to pick just ONE Origins’s product that is my favorite, but their Cheeks & Balances creamy, so-good smelling, face wash is a lifesaver for me! I have ultra sensitive, hormonal acne prone, combination irritable skin. I break out a week before my period every month, never fail. I started using K beauty products that were more suited to my skin’s needs, and I found a lot of success using cream cleansers. And I use them all year round! I use less in the summer, and more in the winter. And when my face is either about to break out or is already throwing a tantrum, I LOVE using Origins’ Cheeks & Balances face wash. It completely cleans my face of all makeup, oil, residue, etc., but it does not strip my skin at all! And it smells AHmazing! I’d really love to try the Mega Mushroom Fortifying Emulsion. Emulsion is the 3rd step in my K beauty skin regimen, and I’ve adopted other brands’ emulsion products. I’d really like to see how good Origins is with this step. I’d also really like to try that Mega Mushroom Relief and Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion. I bet my skin would just soak it right up! Love them shrooms!
