Fresh Beauty’s NYC hotel.
Fans of niche skincare brand FRESH will be excited to learn that the beauty brand’s cofounders have opened a boutique hotel in New York called “The Maker”. Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, who built a global skincare empire, have turned their attention to the hospitality industry with the design of this niche hotel.
The 11-room property is located in three historical buildings in Hudson, New York combining bohemian sensibilities that draws from nineteenth-century industrial, La Belle Époque, Art Deco and Mid-Century periods. The theme is a celebration of “makers” – artisans, artists, craftsmen and builders. Each room is designed to deliver a unique guest experience.
“During my travels, I always felt there was an opportunity to expand the hospitality experience. One that inspires and allows you to dream. We knew we could execute The Maker concept in Hudson because the area was so rich with artisans, history and design, and it was the perfect location. Moving from standardized design, The Maker fuses different periods, and builds a home where this eclectic design can exist harmoniously,” explains Glazman.
The 14,000 square-foot property consists of three buildings: an 1800’s Carriage House, a Georgian mansion and a Greek Revival building. The team preserved original architectural elements throughout the property such as ornate fireplaces in several guest rooms, wood flooring, decorative stain glass, mosaic tiles and hand-painted ceilings. Over 70% of the property’s decor is vintage including one-of-a-kind antique pieces.
To celebrate the launch of the hotel, the pair have created The Maker Hudson Eau de Parfum, a gender-neutral woody-spicy fragrance that captures the vibrant character of the city. One hundred percent of the sales of the fragrance will benefit the community supporting local organizations and small businesses.
Now, here’s the most exciting element for beauty enthusiasts. Each room will feature full-sized Fresh beauty products including Seaberry Shampoo and Conditioner, Sugar Lemon Shower Gel, Lotion and Soap. That’s a $115 value.
The Maker is located at 302 Warren Street, Hudson, New York. For more information visit themaker.com

April 20, 2024 at 10:07 amGorgeous pictures of the hotel. And I love when beauty/skincare products in the room are high quality like Fresh. I was once lucky enough to stay at a hotel that provided this type of products. It made me seek out the shampoo and lotion long after my stay because they reminded me of my vacation. So this sounds lovely for guests of The Maker. I would love to visit one day as well.

February 12, 2023 at 4:47 pmI actually think that premium hotel toiletries is one of the most important thing that makes a hotel memorable. Your memory is usually attached to smells and nice fragrances. This looks like a hotel I want to put down on my bucket list
