In the realm of luxury fashion, there are a handful of exquisite brands that prefer to keep their logos and names hidden from sight. The craftsmanship and quality speak for themselves and these companies prefer to be play down their advertising and marketing. They’d rather be known to a few key insiders than the masses. Bottega Veneta is one such brand. Designed by Creative Director Thomas Maier, the Italian luxury brand is known for intricate leather weaving (called ‘intrecciato’) and streamlined silhouettes.
The brand was established in Vicenza in 1966 under the direction of master leather craftsmen. The philosophy of Bottega is “when your initials are enough”, meaning that there is no need for logos or designer names on bags, clothing or accessories. The focus is put on the finest quality materials and skilled artisans that combine traditional mastery with breathtaking innovation.
The new fragrance called “knot”, takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera and its lush hills. Saltwater breezes tinged with the scent of peonies mingle with clementine trees. It has the effect of freshly washed linens drying outside in the summer sun: clean and modern. The 75 ml eau de parfum spray retails for $170.

December 19, 2014 at 11:24 amI’ve seen this brand but it’s not as huge back in Malaysia. It does seems to be more popular in the western and Europe countries. That perfume sounds really exquisite and I especially love how classy the packaging is.
