Creed’s iconic Aventus fragrance is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a luxe limited edition bottle.

Ten years ago, heritage perfumery brand Creed launched a rich fruity-aromatic fougere fragrance for men called Aventus that immediately became a sensation around the world with fragrance enthusiasts. Enamoured with the light touch of perfumer Olivier Creed, men were drawn to the elegant character and fresh, fruity-accord effect. He blends notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, apple, pineapple, pink berries, birch, patchouli, jasmine, oakmoss, ambergris, musk and vanilla to create a layered and complex scent. What’s remarkable is how Olivier perfectly balances such ingredients that have strong personalities. He is somehow able to create a fragrance that has a light personality. It’s the most successful creation by Olivier, a sixth generation perfumer for the 250 year-old niche perfume brand.

“It’s remarkable to me the way Aventus has been received by our family of clients and the industry,” says Creed. “We wanted to create a special bottle to celebrate this milestone for both collectors and share the fragrance for those who are new to the brand.”

Following the success of the debut fragrance, Creed followed it up with Aventus for Her in 2016 and Aventus Cologne for him and her in 2019. The name itself means “from the wind” and not surprisingly, there have been many imitations throughout the decade. Fortunately, none have duplicated its unique character.

The limited edition bottle features an opaque bottle using a black and silver colour story and a special 10th anniversary script. It’s housed in a charcoal-hued box embossed with bespoke silver – ideal for gift giving.
