    Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has j Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has just launched a new fragrance for her under its Devotion franchise. Named Dolce & Gabbana Your Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense, this composition give the globally bestselling Devotion fragrance a fruity twist to the gourmand original. The scent opens with a vibrant splash of Sicilian melon and zesty mandarin which blends beautifully with orange blossom and gardenia. The dry down contains notes of Madagascar vanilla, milk, sandalwood and oakmoss. It was created by Master perfumer Olivier Cresp. Inspired by it milky notes, the fragrance is housed in a ‘latte’ coloured lacquered glass bottle, sealed with the D&G Sacred Heart emblem. #davelackiebeauty @sephoracanada

Professional pickers choose blooms that are just beginning to fully open rather than old or faded blossoms. Each petal is placed in a breathable bag or container and kept out of direct sunlight so they stay fresh. This is actually very skilled work with professionals paid a very good salary for their flower picking. For so many years, the world of perfumery was shrouded in mystery. The inner workings of perfume houses was a well-kept secret.     British niche perfume brand Atkinsons is composing British niche perfume brand Atkinsons is composing some truly fascinating fragrances under its ‘Reserve Collection’ umbrella. Mystic Moonlight is the next edition and it is an amber-woody fragrance for her or him created by perfumer Jordi Fernandez. It opens with coconut, tropical fruits and ginger for a fruity-spicy first impression. These notes are balanced by oud, cedarwood, cypriol and cistus. Tonka bean and ambrofix shape the base, giving the fragrance a warm, woody-amber character. These Atkinsons fragrances don’t smell like anything else on the market which is perfect if you are looking for some unique and special. #davelackiebeauty
    I heard rumours a year ago that there was a new On I heard rumours a year ago that there was a new One Million edition in development that was really good. And they weren’t wrong. One Million Night Elixir has just arrived in stores and online and it truly lives up to the hype. I love that there is a Canadian angle to this edition: maple syrup! Perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Quentin Bisch composed this scent using a sweet maple syrup note that adds an addictive quality to the fragrance. It’s blended with mandarin, bergamot, lemon, cinnamon and lavender with vanilla, benzoin and labdanum. I’d describe it as a citrus-amber-gourmand eau de parfum. You’ll notice this is the first time that the iconic gold bar flacon is dressed in black. Definitely worth checking out. #davelackiebeauty #rabanneonemillion #nightelixir #mensfragrance
