The global fragrance market hit $80 billion in annual sales in 2025, up 8.8% year-over-year according to industry tracker Euromonitor. And the men’s market continues to drive massive sales thanks to GenZ consumers. I appeared on Morning Live with @rickzamperin to discuss the five most noteworthy men’s scents for Father’s Day 2026. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme Eau de Parfum, 100 ml, $187 First launched in 2007 as an eau de toilette scent for men, this citrus aromatic became a global sensation winning a FiFi Award in 2008 as Men’s Luxe Fragrance Launch of the Year. This month sees Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas return with a stronger and longer-lasting eau de parfum version. This golden, luminous citrus-woody scent layers Calabrian Yellow Mandarin, Seawater Cypress and Cedarwood. It’s called L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Essentielle and it is a fresh woody-aromatic fragrance for him that blends notes of mandarin orange, ginger, lavender and nutmeg – all over a base of smooth guaiac wood. There is an aromatic and effervescent character to this men’s scent that gives it character. And the guaiac wood has a resinous, mineral density. The water green caps are actually crafted exclusively from a single block of wood, entirely free from plastic inserts. Each piece is inherently unique.     New York fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his new New York fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his new beauty licensee Coty have quietly been working on the relaunch of Marc Jacobs Beauty for a full three years. The previous collection created in partnership with LVMH was a global success at Sephora. But when Coty saw an opportunity to take over the partnership, they jumped at it. (Coty produces and markets Marc’s fragrances.) They started from scratch. None of the previous products or formulations were used. The team started from the beginning following Marc’s vision for modern beauty, an inclusive, joyful universe. The collection launched online at Sephora this week and not surprisingly some items are already sold out. It’s an incredibly good collection with eye-popping packaging that is as fun to look at as it is to use. The stars, daisies and hearts bring to mind Jeff Koombs’ pop art sculptures. The liners, mascara and blush sticks are expected to be bestsellers. But there is another product trending already: Born Star Eyeshadow. Housed in mint green metallic star compacts are 14 shades in matte, metallic and duo chrome finishes.
