Several times a year, I like to give twitter followers the true beauty editor experience with special VIP events. Followers get the chance to win an invite to a beauty launch dinner that is exactly the same as the beauty directors at Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and InStyle attend in New York, London and Paris. Not only do they enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a press presentation and a gourmet dinner. But they leave with a great gift bag too.
Our latest dinner was for the launch of Shiseido’s innovative new sunscreen product WetForce. The sun block actually gets stronger in water! Twenty-five followers got to experience the product in person and then get into the spirit by testing their surfing skills on a surf board simulator. They got a spring makeup touch-up and spent time with Shiseido Vice President Elaine Shigeishi. Here are the photos from the event.
