More than three decades ago, fashion designer Isse More than three decades ago, fashion designer Issey Miyake granted Jacques Cavallier carte blanche to capture ‘the scent of water on a woman’s skin’ within a single bottle. With L’Eau d’Issey, the fashion house introduced one of the earliest aquatic fragrances for women. This month sees the debut of Eaux Essentielles, new compositions, conceived by perfumer Marie Salamagne. (There is a men’s and women’s fragrance). “For these new Eaux d’Issey fragrances, I drew inspiration from the very essence of pure water. Its scent, perceptible along riverbanks, captures the luminosity and freshness of the aquatic world. For this reason, each fragrance expresses its invigorating energy with clarity and vitality,” she explains. “For L’Eau d’Issey Eau Essentielle (for her), I sought to explore the sense of minerality through a floral and musky signature,” she continues. At the top, crystalline and fruity facets of a pear accord lend a delicately sweet freshness. She then adds bergamot citrus, an infusion of jasmine, orange blossom, musks and cedarwood. This result is a fresh, light aquatic-floral scent that is a wonderful homage to the original. #davelackiebeauty

It’s called BOSS Bottled Striking Lavender and the limited edition scent blends crisp mineral notes, herbaceous white lavender essence, vibrant blue lavender essence, moss accord and woods. It has a bright freshness that dries to a masculine and clean woodiness. The iconic BOSS Bottled glass flacon is refreshed in a radiant blue double-lacquer finish evoking the playful summer mood of the scent. #davelackiebeauty

This is makeup in the form of jewellery – lip gloss, eyeshadow, lipstick and lip oils housed in charm-like baubles that hang from key rings and even earrings. Take this Good Girl Blusher Set for example. It’s a multi-use lip and cheek colour that comes in a pink and gold charm that attaches to an embossed ring. It really is a little work of art. New York fashion designer Marc Jacobs is relaunchi New York fashion designer Marc Jacobs is relaunching his beauty line on June 1st with an eye-popping collection for eyes, lips and complexion thanks to an updated licensing deal with Coty. The products are described as having “a fearless, unapologetic point of view into makeup: bold, radically inclusive and unmistakably Marc Jacobs”, read a Coty company statement. The packaging is particular is joyful, playful and almost Pop Art in inspiration. You’ll notice a heart motif for lips, a star on eye items and a daisy motif for complexion products. This collection has been years in the making and one of the most anticipated launches of 2026. Star products include Born Star Eyeshadow, contained in a mint green metallic star-shaped compact, Legally Bronze Bronzer, an eight-shade bronzer was specifically designed to sculpt the face and create a healthy glow, and Heart on Lipstick, a half-balm, half-lipstick that delivers a dewy finish. “I am not interested in one right way to look; beauty, like fashion, has always been a form of self-expression rooted in experimentation, play and reimagining the familiar in new ways,” says Jacobs. When bands such as Def Leppard, Ozzy Osborne and Twisted Sister noticed that a large percentage of their audiences were women, they decided to create limited edition beauty collections to sell at their concerts and online.
