Luxury Giveaway Winners

Congrats to @YAbooklover – this week’s exclusive subscriber contest winner of Estee Lauder New Dimension

This week’s exclusive subscriber contest: Estee Lauder New Dimension! When I recently interviewed Canadian pop star Lights, she told me that she always travels with a contouring kit. “I’ve learned to play up my features. And in my case, that is my cheekbones,” she said. So before she sits for an interview or appears before an audience, she carefully sculpts her cheeks and jaw line.

Of course, we have the Kardashians to thank for making contouring a worldwide phenomenon. They work with Hollywood makeup artist Scott Barnes for their really big appearances. Following on this trend is a brand new approach to skincare from Estee Lauder: feature defining skincare. It is skincare products that help create the effect you get from makeup to define and shape features. There is a really nice serum and an eye and face contouring makeup kit in the collection. Read about the New Dimension launch here.

Skincare contouring seems a bit challenging, but I would like to try it. Especially since I have a round, young looking face. (Twitter @SeaBeeinTO).

It’s very effective when done by someone who knows what they are doing, I think it’s best left to professionals.

I think contouring is amazing – but you’ve got to be extremely good at it otherwise it can go badly wrong. Subtlety and good blending do the trick! @AshersAshers

I love the idea of contouring! For people like me with very little definition in my bone structure it’s a simple way of cheating my look 😉

I’ve got to admit that I wonder whether I would feel like my face is smothered. I’d like to try it, subtly, to see what it can do.
