Spring’s Must-See Palette: NARS’ Wild Thing Face Palette

Francois Nars is one of the most discerning makeup artists when it comes to palette colours. He will literally send back prototypes again and again until he gets exactly the shades and textures he wants. This is thanks to his years working backstage during Fashion Weeks, on celebrity photo shoot sets and at red carpet galas. He really does approach makeup like a fine artist does a canvas.

So it is no surprise that his Fever To Dream collection is so good. The limited edition palettes each feature a blush, highlighter and four coveted eyeshadows for an all-over harmonious finish. My favourite is the Wild Thing Face Palette (exclusive to Nordstrom) It contains the following shades:

Alive (a warm matte tan)

Psyched (a matte chestnut brown)

Erratic (a neutral shimmering beige)

Lala (a shimmering deep bronze)

No Limit (true yellow-gold)

Goddess Complex (golden shimmering peach)

You’ll notice that Francois has chosen complementary shades to give way to a dimensional glow. He says that these curated shades work for ALL skin tones. And to make it even more special, he’s packaged them with an art cover.
