Tap the latest scientific advances this season to solve common skincare dilemmas thanks to these innovative devices.
Brand: Dyson
City:
The Launch: Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer
The innovation: Dyson has reimagined the professional hairdryer. The V9 digital motor spins up to a hundred and ten thousand times per minute, with one inaudible frequency. So it’s faster and lighter than some other motors. It’s engineered for balance.
Temperature control: Some traditional hairdryers can overheat and scald hair causing damage. Dyson monitors air temperature 20 times per second and regulates the dryer thanks to a microprocessor. This prevents extreme heat damage and ensures fast drying.
Smoothing nozzle: The nozzle produces smooth air flow that dries and styles simultaneously.
DermaFlash Facial Exfoliating Device
Beauty solution: a first-of-its-kind, at-home, professional-quality facial skin exfoliation & peach fuzz removal device for women
Three-step program: Prep, edge & soothe. Begin by cleansing the face gently with the included cleanser. Then, insert a new Edge into the device and using short, feathery strokes, use the device on the face to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz. Finish by soothing skin with the hydrating moisturizer. The process is inspired by Dermaplaning, a costly procedure available only in medical spas.
PMD Personal Microderm Hand & Foot Kit
Beauty solution: Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and enlarged pores with this at-home microdermabrasion device
The science: The Personal Microderm combines the power of Patented Spinning Disc Technology with a perfectly calibrated vacuum suction to brighten, smooth and even skin tone and texture. The spinning disc works with aluminum oxide crystals to gently exfoliate skin.
Foreo Luna play
Beauty solution: This pocket-sized T-Sonic facial-cleansing device promises a fresher, clearer complexion in six weeks with just 1 minute use twice a day.
The science: This device uses T-sonic power, 8,000 transdermal sonic pulsations per minute to effectively remove all debris and dirt on your face. It’s 35 times more hygienic than standard cleansing brushes
Iris
Beauty solution: Tackle the signs of aging and fatigue around the eye area including wrinkles, lines, dark circles and puffiness
Gentle massage: Each arm of the curving arch makes automated movements that mimics those of a professional eye treatment in a spa. This gentle motion increases the absorption of eye creams and serums. T-sonic technology combines a tapping motion and delicate pulsations
Issa Toothbrush
Beauty solution: Originally designed for clinical use, this high-tech toothbrush uses high-intensity pulsations through soft silicone bristles to effectively remove stains and plaque while remaining gentle on tooth enamel and gums.
Ergonomic design: With its streamlined shape, Issa is half the weight of stand electric toothbrushes and features 3D flexibility to adapt to any tooth surface. The brush heads only need to be replaced once a year.
Silk’n Flash & Go Express Hair Removal
Beauty solution: quick and painless removal of unwanted body hair
The science: No need to visit a medical spa for hair removal treatments. This portable device boasts 300,000 pulses of focused light for up to 92% hair reduction after the complete treatment regimen. It’s FDA cleared in the U.S. and can be used on the face, under arms, arms, bikini area and legs.
Simple human Mirror
Beauty solution: No need to squint into a mirror to see your complexion accurately. This next generation of beauty mirror creates professional studio results at home.
A clearer view: A tru-lux light system is more than twice as bright as conventional lit mirrors and instantly colour-corrects the light in any room. The surgical-grade LED’s have a colour rendering index of 90 to closely simulate natural sunlight. It offers dual magnification
