shu uemura travel brush set“Beautiful tools Beautiful finish” That is the mantra of Japanese artistry brand shu uemura. Mr Shu Uemura believed that good quality makeup brushes were essential to getting the very most from every beauty product to create the best possible effect. I’ve watched the top shu makeup artists work and they hold their brushes at a very precise angle and follow a very specific technique. It is almost like watching a dance. Makeup is placed at exact locations on the face. It’s a true art.

shu uemura makeup brushesWhat’s interesting about these makeup brushes is they we originally designed to duplicate Mr. Shu Uemura’s finger tips. Each brush was crafted to achieve a beautiful finish, just like the artist’s hands. In this special shu uemura x super mario brothers Peach’s favourite premium brush set, you’ll find the following travel-sized brushes:

face brush

cheek brush

eyeshadow brush

eyeliner/lip brush

shu uemura recommends keeping these brushes clean at all times. After usage, wash with shu uemura Brush Cleanser and reshape the bristles. This will keep them in great shape for upwards of 10 years.

I like different brands for different brushes. Mac 239 for lid shades, Royal & Langnickel BC430 Crease brush, ELF powder brush, bdellium Blush brush. For me it’s all about the shape and touch for different applications. Love the look of these brushes, not to mention my son loves Mario!

These brushes look stunning!! I’ve always wanted to try Japanese brushes. I don’t have a fav, my brushes are fairly inexpensive, but they do the job.

My brushes are whatever I need at the time, they aren’t all one brand so don’t really know what I like best. I have heard the Japanese brushes are superior though.
