Spanish beauty company Puig has just inked a deal to acquire niche fragrance brands Penhaligon’s & L’Artisan Parfumeur. Both brands will join the Puig scent roster that includes Prada fragrance, Valentino scents, Nina Ricci fragrances & Paco Rabanne. Penhaligon’s London, established in 1870, is a well-respected British fragrance brand most famous for its Blenheim Bouquet, created in 1902 for the Duke of Marlborough. The brand holds two Royal Warrants, a symbol of excellence and quality.
L’Artisan Parfumeur Paris, founded in 1976, is one of the world’s premiere luxury niche fragrance brands working with its own craftsman to create authentic and innovative perfumes.
Puig is a third-generation family-owned fashion and fragrance business based in Barcelona. The company recorded sales of over 1.4 billion Euros last year. Its products are sold in more than 140 countries.
