OPI co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann dreams up each witty shade name as she’s been doing for 40 years. It’s been a 40th anniversary celebratory year for the brand that is more popular now than ever. She is credited with reinventing the nail lacquer industry with fashion-forward hues, long-wear formulas and nail care advances. You can read about her incredible adventures in her biography that she published a couple years ago.

THE GIVEAWAY: I was excited to have an OPI Mini Nail Polish Advent Calendar to give away to one lucky reader. To enter, I invited readers to tell me in a blog post comment below what is their favourite shade name in this collection. Cheryl J told us and I drew her name from all entries. Congrats Cheryl!
