Exclusive First Look: Nina’s Monsters

French fashion & beauty house Nina Ricci is unleashing a pair of monsters this coming April. They are new limited editions of the Nina and Luna fragrances with bottles designed by Brazilian artists Ana Strumpf and Guto Requena.

Les Monstres de Nina Ricci Nina is a sweet fruity-floral scent created by Master perfumer Olivier Cresp that boasts the following notes:



Blackcurrant leaves

Candy floss




Nina’s famed appled-shaped bottle is decorated with an illustration of citron eyes and a red pom-pom around its neck.


les monstres de nina ricci lunaLes Monstres de Nina Ricci Luna is a sweet gourmand scent created by perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Marie Salamagne. It contains the following notes:


Pineapple juice


Sweet caramel


Luna’s blue bottle is adorned with pink eyes and a blue pom-pom.


Expect to see a comprehensive social media campaign in April using the hashtag: #FreeTheMonster. The scents will launch at Hudson’s Bay in Canada in April 2018.

    There’s been a recent fascination with monsters since Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water and his exhibit at the AGO!
