Long-time friend and muse of Francois Nars, Naomi Campbell signs on as face of NARS’s spring 2019 campaigns.

 

 

Famed celebrity makeup artist Francois Nars has reteamed with supermodel Naomi Campbell for the beauty brand’s spring advertising campaigns. Francois shot four portraits of Campbell that will roll out over the coming weeks on digital platforms.

This is the third time Naomi has been the face of the brand, a relationship built around Nars and Campbell’s friendship which spans over two decades. The two have worked together on countless editorials, runway shows and projects including Nars bookes: X-Ray, Makeup Your Mind and 15×15. “Francois and I are like family,” says the model. “He is a true artist, not just a makeup artist. He paints and transforms you. When I first started it was hard to find colours that truly matched my skin. He created those colours. I remember he made me my own foundation when I started.”

“Naomi is a living icon and brings such a strong personality to the camera,” says Nars. “She and I are like family. I have known her since the very beginning of her career. From the start, I have admired her – her beauty and her style.”

 

Naomi’s kick-off campaign will be in support of the Radiance Repowered Campaign that debuts in January 2019. The star product is the Super Radiant Booster in a universal rose gold that flatters all skin tones.
