10 Best May Launches: This is one of the busiest months for new beauty, skincare and fragrance launches. Of the dozens and dozens of new products arriving on store counters this month, here are ten exceptional products worth checking out.

1. Valentina Poudre

There is a new trend emerging in perfumery for summer 2016. It’s a new generation of powdery fragrances the smell like expensive face powders. Narciso Rodriguez created a version under his “Narciso” brand that he describes as smelling like warm skin. The effect is soft and understated. It really is a backlash to the overly sweet floral gourmands we’ve seen of late. Think of these new eau de parfums as creamy, floral and powdery. One of my favourites is Valentina Poudre, a clean, modern powdered scent for her. It comes housed in the stunningly beautiful round bottle adorned by a soft beige sculptural flower emblem. It is definitely worth searching out and smelling.
