Italian luxury jeweller Bvlgari approaches the art of perfumery the same way it designs some of the world’s most exquisite necklaces, rings and bracelets: Roman craftsmanship and exquisite ingredients. The same rigorous approach to placing vibrant gemstones into a ring is used when blending precious ingredients in a premium fragrance. It takes a very skilled and light hand to bring out the best in rose, peony, jasmine and tuberose flowers. It’s a talent that the Italian fashion house is very proud of.

To celebrate this Roman fragrance excellence, I’m giving away some of my favourite Bvlgari fragrances. And I’m thrilled that I was able to find some collector miniature bottles. These tiny bottles look as good as they smell.

My favourite Bvlgari women’s fragrance is Omnia Crystalline. This gentle and airy floral for her was created by perfumer Alberto Morillas who was inspired by the perfection of crystal. He blends soft bamboo, smooth nashi fruit, lotus blossom and woods. It’s subtle, clean and comforting. On the men’s side, Glacial Essence is an aromatic fresh scent for him that blends notes crystallized by ice including juniper berry essence, ginger, Szechuan pepper, iris and woods. It is meant to convey the experience of taking a deep breath of fresh air on a mountain peak
