Lisa Eldridge creates her ultimate eyeshadow palette for Lancome! The Youtube beauty star creates a must-have collector palette that works on all skin tones and for all ages.
Beauty icon: Lisa Eldrige
Occupation: makeup artist
Website: lisaeldridge.com
Born: 1974 in New Zealand then moved to Liverpool, England
Big break: ELLE magazine booked her to make up Cindy Crawford
New book: Lisa has just published Face Paint: The Story of Makeup
Social media star: Eldridge has 144,000 followers on twitter, 466,000 on Instagram, and 1.3 million subscribers to her YouTube channel. She came to fame creating simple, how-to beauty tutorials that demystified complex makeup looks. What makes Lisa stand out from dozens of other top makeup artists is she and her team respond to almost all comments and questions on social media. She’s incredibly engaging and sincere.
Lancome partnership: Lisa joined Lancome last year as Creative Director of Makeup. Not only does she create tutorials and editorial for the French beauty brand, but she oversees the creation of all limited edition colour collections. She retains her editorial integrity by having a contract that says she has complete creative control over what colours and products she talks about and recommends.
Auda(City) in Paris Palette
The launch: A 16-shade eyeshadow palette divided into four makeup harmonies for easy application.
Back story: Lisa spent months perfecting each shade for this palette. She tested it on numerous skin tones and refined the formula each time. She wanted flattering colours that were very easy to use. She then created YouTube videos to demonstrate different looks and application techniques.
A new texture: These powder shadows have a creamy feel on the skin for added comfort. You’ll see that some shades have a little bit of shimmer in the formula to help blur out the appearance of any imperfections.”
Pro tip: “What I particularly love about this palette is that each of the 16 shadow colours complement all eye colours. It works for everyone,” says Lancome’s Myles Sexton. “For a pop of colour, I like to apply the shadow in the middle of the eyelid just above the lash line. That way you see it only when you blink.”
Pro tip: “Try a rich chocolate brown instead of black as a liner. It softens the look slightly and gives it a modern edge.”
Lisa has recently published a book on the history of makeup.
The Lancome Audacity palette is available in Canada at Hudson’s Bay and thebay.com.

March 11, 2016 at 7:36 amI love her! I love the simplicity and softness, she’s more old school from before makeup was meant to be seen. Back then it was about not seeing it, its meant to enhance, not cover! Which is why every one who’s makeup she does just looks natural!
