Like That? Try This! YSL Edition

One of the most popular features on my blog is something I call “Like that? Try this!” I take a bestselling shade or product from a collection and then work with an artist to come up with an alternative you might like. It could be a shade that is similar in tone or a hue that offers contrast. With so many choices at a beauty counter, this gives you an option that will look good. And one you might not have considered before.

This month, YSL Beaute’s national trainer Rebecca Bertucci has outdone herself with some amazing picks. I particularly like the Rouge Volupte Shine in Coral Incandescent. Nina Westbury is always telling me that coral is a shade that looks great on so many skin tones. But it isn’t one that comes to mind when shopping a beauty counter. This particular shade is a favourite of several Beauty Directors at New York fashion magazines I know.
