Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serums
American apothecary brand Kiehl’s has just launched one of the most exciting skincare collections of 2023 – a trio of ultra pure high-potency serums that are each formulated with 10 or less ingredients. I can’t tell you how difficult this is to achieve in chemistry. Active ingredients often don’t blend well with other actives in a formulation. The fewer the ingredients, the more difficult it is to blend. The fact that Kiehl’s scientists were able to achieve this feat in three different products is incredible.
Why is this important? The fewer the ingredients, the less chance there is for those with sensitive skin to react to a formula. In fact, the Canadian Dermatologist Association has recognized these serums for ‘low potential for irritation’. Each is fragrance free, colorant free, clean, vegan-friendly, hypoallergenic and tested on sensitive skin. Even more impressive is they are guaranteed potent and stable for two years or more.
Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum 5% Niacinamide
The first serum, a 5% Niacinamide formula is ideal for anyone with oily skin. It addresses imperfections, redness, shine reductions and oil control.
Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid
If dry sky is your main concern, this hyaluronic acid serum is for you. It’s helps boost plumpness, bounce, suppleness and deep hydration. Gently massage into your skin after cleansing and allow to absorb for a minute or two before applying your moisturizer.
Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum 9.8% Glycolic Acid
For those concerned with skin texture and radiance, the glycolic acid targets texture, pores, glow and exfoliation. This particular serum contains only seven ingredients.
With any serum, be sure to give it a full eight weeks to show optimum results.

February 24, 2023 at 6:47 pmWow! This is incredible news! I saw you showcase these on Cityline, and I was just so impressed! You’re so right about how hard that is to achieve in chemistry. This is just another reason I love Kiehl’s so much! They focus on the science, and that’s so important! It’s obviously paying off very well for them, too! Thanks so much for sharing these with us, Dave! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! xoxoJJ
