Apothocary skincare brand Kiehl’s is donating 100% of net proceeds this month of its Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado to the Canadian Wildlife Federation to help protect the beluga whale population. You may remember the brand highlighted the fragile Puffin population in 2015. This year, sales from the creamy eye treatment will be used by Kiehl’s to symbolically adopt 350 beluga whales as part of the CWF Adopt a Species program. Funds will go to the Canadian Marine Animal Response Alliance which responds to many of the 1,000 marine animal incidents reported each year.
The artwork on the limited edition package was designed by artist Olivia Mew who is known for her whimsical style and her lifestyle brand Stay Home Club. Founded as a “one-woman-basement-business” in 2012, her brand now counts devotees from around the world who identify with its witty messaging.
This signature eye treatment is one of Kiehl’s most popular products. It helps keep the delicate skin around the eye area well hydrated. The fatty acids naturally found in Avocado Oil are superbly rich and act as an effective moisturizer. Key ingredients include: avocado oil, vitamins A & E, shea butter, sodium PCA and beta-carotene.
Kiehl’s is available in Canada at thebay.com and at select Hudson’s Bay stores.

April 8, 2016 at 12:13 pmWonderful way to interlock wildlife preservation with the cosmetic industry.
I hear great comments about KIEHLS but have not tried as of yet. Great idea to promote the Bulaga Whale by giving the gist several customers a furry white stuffed replica of the whale with a large tub of eye creme with avocado! ?
