Kiehl’s Pride with Tegan & Sara
American apothecary skincare brand Kiehl’s is partnering with pop star duo Tegan & Sara to help improve the lives of LGBTQ girls and women through a special charitable intiative this month. The Grammy-nominated artists have lent their name and creativity to design two limited-edition labels for the brand’s popular Ultra Facial Cleanser and Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleansers. The colourful, graphic packaging boasts triangle motifs in red, pink, yellow, purple and blue. It was created in partnership with Tegan & Sara’s longtime art director. One hundred percent of net proceeds will benefit the musicians’ foundation.
“We have been enjoying using Kiehl’s products personally for over a decade, so it is with great excitement that we announce our partnership between the Tegan & Sara Foundation and Kiehl’s Canada. We created the Tegan & Sara Foundation to support the LGBTQ community. We want to ensure that LGBTQ girls and women live an empowered life, have equal opportunity, and the tools to succeed regardless of their gender expression or sexual orientation. We have worked closely with Kiehl’s to design this national program, and we look forward to sharing ‘Kiehl’s Pride with Tegan & Sara’. The funds will help address economics, representation, and health – three areas where the communities face the biggest challenges.
“Kiehl’s is also very happy to support this worthy cause. We want to help support counseling and mentorship services for LBGTQ youth with the Tegan & Sara Foundation; it was a natural mix for Kiehl’s to give back to the community and help youth feel more comfortable in their skin,” adds Alexandre Ratte, General Manager at Kiehl’s Counter. The goal is to raise $50,000 with this campaign.
Kiehl’s is available in Canada at select Hudson’s Bay stores and thebay.com

January 18, 2017 at 9:07 amBeautifully written and agree with Cat that someday, hopefully much sooner than later,it won’t be a “cause” as this is just the way of LIFE! People have to open there Hearts and expand their minds, to the way all human beings were born, whether it be LBGTQ, or all the Colours under the ☀️! Before we can possibly make REAL headway on “issues” that due matter….like Finding A Cure for #MillionsMissing or M.E. or Breast Cancer
In the interim. I applaud Tegan and Sara, have their music and @kiehls products are amazing!
Thank you for all of your hard work.
