    I’m thrilled to see that British niche perfumer I’m thrilled to see that British niche perfumer Atkinsons is taking inspiration from its archives for a brand new line called Reserve Collection. Each is inspired by an iconic scent in the Atkinsons archive that originally launched from 1799 to the mid-1950s. The formulas are reworked as a contemporary interpretation of the original keeping the spirit and character. The brand describes them as ‘Parfums Intenses’, powerful olfactory masterpieces using ultra-premium raw materials. Born for Eternity is the latest in the collection that pays homage to the myths and iconography of Ancient Egypt that swept the world with the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. Originally launched in 1925, this scent has been reworked using notes of Incense Essence, saffron, Egyptian Geranium, sweet praline, oud wood, leather and amber. It’s a rich woody-amber scent for him or her housed in a truly beautiful bottle. #davelackiebeauty

UK celebrity makeup artist @lisaeldridgemakeup has been recognized by King Charles III in his 2025 New Year's Honour List. She's been awarded an MBE for her contribution to the Fashion and Beauty Industries. I think her message to makeup artists and creatives just starting up sums up her character and talent. "For all those who are just beginning their journey, DREAM BIG because it's amazing how far hard work, creativity, passion and perseverance can take you." Lisa is the Global Creative Director for Makeup at Lancome, an accomplished celeb and editorial makeup makeup artist and has her own high quality makeup line. But most importantly, she is one of the loveliest artists I've ever met. Passionate and kind. Big congrats from Canada, Lisa!! xo
    I've always liked the idea of saving beauty advent I've always liked the idea of saving beauty advent calendars for January. This is the time of year when the weather is brutally cold and the days are short. Discovering a new beauty product each day in the heart of winter definitely lifts the spirits. One of the best of the year is the Armani Beauty Advent Calendar that features eight full fuze products and 15 miniatures. I had the opportunity to work with Mr Armani's team in Milan years ago and I can tell you he insists on absolute quality and perfection. He would send products back again and again to the development teams until he was satisfied. This is a wonderful way to discover his collection and his vision for beauty. #davelackiebeauty
