We may just be starting summer vacations, but beauty companies are starting to ship autumn beauty collections to retailers around the world. The first transport trucks leave this week to get the new products to stores for their August 1st official launches. Fall is the strongest season for makeup collections so cosmetics brands safe their best palettes and innovations for September and October. This is to coincide with the fall fashion collections that arrive at the same time.
Of the dozens of new products and shades coming to counters soon, here are five key items to watch out for. Expect to see them on store counters in early September but you may want to reserve them in advance. The number of items that stores order can be very small when it comes to limited edition collections. So if you like any of these, be quick. Reserve one to be sure.
- Anna Sui Bells Ring Nail Colour in N009 Black
New York fashion designer Anna Sui shows once again why her beauty packaging is unlike any other in the world. In September, she will launch 34 new shades of nail lacquer housed in a vintage bell-shaped bottle adorned with birds and daisies. This black shade is particularly edgy and will appeal to young-minded beauty enthusiasts. Even better, it is scented with tea rose notes.
- Giorgio Armani Beauty Runway Palette F/W 2015
Giorgio Armani officially linked his fashion and beauty collections last season with the debut of his spring “Runway” beauty collection. He took the makeup featured on his models at his spring ready-to-wear show in Milan and designed a capsule collection for his beauty fans. It was a runaway bestseller. For that reason, each season, Mr. Armani will introduce makeup to recreate his runway look. For fall 2015, this is the stellar collector palette offering three shadows and a powder blush. It comes in a drawstring pouch the mimics the fabrics found in the fashion collection.
- Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Tender Blush
Come September, Guerlain fans will see a relaunch of the brand’s popular blush – in new packaging with embossed powder. The new formula will contain “pink booster pigments” that let the natural red light blend with skin enhancing the skin’s natural rosiness. The result is a healthy radiance. Guerlain scientists spend much of their time researching colour pigments and light. You see this in the wildly popular meteorites line. This is the next generation of blush and it comes in six shades.
- Clarins “Belle de Nuit” Nighttime Eyeshadow Palette
I’ve been particularly impressed with Clarins’ neutral palettes of late. They remind me of Bobbi Brown’s colouring and offer skin-pampering ingredients. For Autumn 2015, there is a stunning night palette with the most beautiful shades for an evening smoky eye. From a beige highlighter to a deep inky black, these five shades will create the perfect party look. It launches in September.
- shu uemura haute street dual-ended eye colour pencils
When Madonna heads out on tour this fall, you know she’ll be wearing shu uemura makeup. The Japanese artistry brand’s colourful fall collection includes a pair of fun eye pencils in turquoise, lime, yellow and pink! These will sell out quickly!

July 9, 2015 at 3:47 amI truly love the make up products! Winning these products would be wonderful; I just had bilateral mastectomies done as I had breast cancer and being able to apply new make up would help to make me feel better about myself!! Thank you, Sandy
