Our favourite item of the week: Dior’s Eye Reviver Palette

“The Eye Reviver Backstage Pros palette is one I consider essential in my kit,” says Peter Phillips, Creative & Image Director of Christian Dior Makeup in Paris.

“It’s a very basic palette, the bare essentials. The eyeshadow gradients let you work the upper eyelid with nude shades that blend into the complexion.

For the Dior Haute Couture Collection Spring-Summer 2015 show, I used the light shade which is the primer all over the models’ eyelids; I chose to do an airy twist on a cut crease. The shape is neither too sharp nor too rounded. The line rises from the inner corner of the eye then flares out gently towards the temple to open up the eyes. All this emphasized the eyes without giving the impression that they were made up.”
