Dior’s Power Look Collection

You could say that Dior’s fall beauty look is about one word: confidence. This season, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup encourages women to use makeup to express their personality and creativity. With this in mind, he designed a limited edition makeup collection for a visionary woman. Set in an urban background with pops of arty colours, this collection is meant to be worn with confidence and self-assurance.

“An urban woman who manages her career and intellectual life. A strong woman who plays with makeup without losing credibility,” he says of his inspiration.

Fearless Eyes. The star 5 Couleurs Eye Palettes are inspired by street culture. Glorif-eye pairs a sky blue with an urban combination of concrete grey, smoky purple and mineral taupe.

Intensif-eye features a warmer harmony of colours. Charcoal, burgundy and bronze are accented with a yellow center. You can wear each shade on its own or pair and layer for a stronger effect. Peter tested each palette on a wide range of skin tones to ensure they work for everyone.

“The Diorshow Pro Liner colour combination came to me from a vision of the modern city,” he says. “A world that is both mineral and frenzied, where the electric colours of neon lights and signs stand out in a decor of glass and concrete.” He offers a matte lime green and a matte orange.

It is likely that the most popular product in the entire collection will be the new jumbo lip pencils. They are called Rouge Graphist and they quickly colour lips in vibrant matte colour. Choose from subtle rosewood, modern taupe, confident burgundy or iconic red.

As lip colour continues to be an important part of any Dior beauty look, you’ll find four new shades of Ultra Rouge and two new hues of Lacquer Plump.

A slanted stroke of colour will instantly heighten the cheekbones thanks to two new shades of Rouge Blush. Choose from Confident red or Independent brown. The iconic Dior logo is stamped onto the powder creating an artistic effect.
