Dior Addict Lacquer Plump debuts.
Dior unveils the ultimate backstage party lip colour: a plumping, high shine lip colour drenched in neon, glitter or classic shades.
For the past five years, Dior has been taking more and more inspiration backstage at Paris Fashion Week & the Couture shows. Peter Philips, Creative Director of Dior Makeup creates all the beauty looks for the catwalk, then drives to the Dior laboratories and translates what he sees into innovative & fashion-forward beauty products. This is one brand that is consistently launching exciting new concepts and formulas. Take this month’s blockbuster launch: Dior Addict Lacquer Plump, a lip colour that was born after a Dior prêt-a-porter fashion show. Once the final model leaves the runway, the champagne bottles pop and the party starts. Most often, models and VIP clients attend an exclusive dinner then dancing at a Paris club to mark the new collection. Philips noticed that models and clients were craving a high-shine lacquer lip product that plumped up lips. He then challenged Dior scientists to create such a product. This new generation plumping lip lacquer features saturated colour and shine, a plumping oil and a long-wear, bare lips sensation texture. It’s different from previous lip plumping products in that you get vibrant colour and a feather-light feeling on lips.
