The nicest thing anyone ever done for me at Christmas…..was when my mother-in-law came in and decorated my Christmas tree from putting it up, stringing on the lights and decorating it while I was in the hospital.

It was Christmas about 6 weeks after our first child was born. I had a bad infection and was in bed for Christmas day. My hubby took over and did everything – making Christmas dinner and taking care of an infant. I still remember all these years later.

I immediately think of one of the last christmases I spent with my brother. He didn’t have much money, but he had been getting things for me here and there, he had a bin of gifts and every single thing was exactly my style or type or interest, etc. I was so touched that he had such a keen insight into what I would love, it is such a fond memory I have of him.

Someone stole the money I had put aside for my son and daughters Christmas gifts. I was so distraught. A kind & caring person actually took me to buy them their Christmas gifts. Without them , my children wouldn’t have had anything under the tree. Grateful forever. Twitter: erikadiana128

The nicest thing that I have had done for Christmas was a few years ago. I was doing last minute food shopping Christmas Eve after work. I had my cart full of everything I needed and was checking out. Only to realize that I left my card at home (an hour away) with the store closing soon…. the lady behind me said “Put it on my bill” without any hesitation!! I was in tears and thanked her so much! I will never forget that day! @twright86

Omg look how pretty it is…. my wages were meant to go in a few days before Christmas and there had been a massive blunder at head office so it didn’t… being a single mom I didn’t have any other options.
A lady that I knew on the school run (we weren’t friends, just chatted on occasion) posted £100 through my letterbox as she knew I’d still got gifts to buy for my son, I burst into tears & paid her back as soon as my wages went in, with a nice bottle of wine to say thanks, she wasn’t a well off lady & we’re really good friends now, Paula that Christmas was a life saver and restored my faith that their are good people out there, helping people and wanting nothing in return 🙂

For me it is always being able to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day with the most amazing woman in my life, my Mom. My Mom always makes Christmas so special for me and there is nowhere else I would rather be than with her on this day.
