I really made Cityline host Tracy Moore laugh on this month’s beauty segment. I surprised her with a photo of her on a paddle that I told the audience I used when planning out the segment. Would Tracy approve of these products? The audience thought it was hilarious. It’s just the kind of fun we like to inject into every beauty segment.
This month, I’ve selected to showcase a number of really interesting skincare launches. Estee Lauder’s new Perfectionist Pro Rapid Brightening Ferment + Vitamin C is the start of a new skincare trend. Expect to see more “ferments” this year. It’s a complex process that concentrates ingredients and makes them more bio-available to the skin so they absorb deeper into skin. Veriphy is a natural, vegan-friendly skincare brand from Canada that is going to make waves in 2020. And Guerlain has created a natural primer for anyone with oil to combination skin.
