It has always been a dream of mine to host one of my VIP Twitter Dinners in the U.K. From the very first days when I joined Twitter, I’ve met so many wonderful people across England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. And I was always sorry that they couldn’t participate in my Canadian beauty events. But that all changed on May 19th when I was finally able to host a special Follower Dinner in London at the beautiful Sofitel London St James. It is steps from Buckingham Palace and the staff at the Balcon Restaurant were incredibly gracious.
Pro makeup artist Nina Westbury co-hosted the event for 12 followers who each won a seat in a contest I ran on davelackie.com What a wonderful group of people. And by the end of the evening, the guests were arranging dates to meet each month in London to reconnect. That is the sign of a great beauty twitter dinner.
