Dave my friend I have learned SO MUCH from you…thanks for the tip about leaving perfume in fridge with the costs of them I would love for the scent to last longer than the perfume does 🙂 I love watching your segments and listening to your calm comforting voice I have told you before but I can’t help it you have the most kind sweet smile I have ever seen and it reaches all the way to your eyes which doesn’t happen w/ most people.
I adore you and your kindness and for sharing your unbelievable knowledge with everyone. You are the absolute best Dave, I could go on forever but life is short 🙂
All these products featured are Amazing!!! And you are so Right if you don’t find the right red lipcolor It does look cheap!!! I definitely going to mac to check the Toledo Collection out!!! Also the Clinique concealer and foundation!! I am going to try!!
Dave is so adorable. I have to come to Toronto one day soon just to pinch those adorable cheeks.Every item he picks out is fabulous and he always picks the top of the line products that will look great on everyone. Those MAC red colors truly are not only beautiful in it’s packaging but the red colored lipsticks are so sheek. Red can be very tacky but these are fabulous.
The Versace perfume reminds me of Ancient Roman Coins you’d find in an Anthropological dig and belongs in a museum.
I LOVE the Guerlain Baby Glow. It adds brightness to the face without making a mess. So easy to use.I love the Estee Lauder BLACK mascara Primer, a nice change from the white mascara primers, which I could never understand because if you don’t cover all the white primer, the lashes look so fake.
I also love the Dior Foundation with the serums combined within. It’s a 2 in one and you save on price and cut down on an extra step in your make up collection.
There isn’t one item in this month’s of Dave’s Picks which I’m not in love with. Dave just keeps on getting better and better. I don’t know what I’d do without Dave’s recommendations. Not only do I love his picks but I look forward to seeing his adorable face, feeling his warmth & his personality through the computer and TV set, his genuineness in recommending only his favorite products, his honesty in assessing beauty products and most importantly, trusting his advice and wanting to give him a huge hug through the screen. He’s my link to your show. He draws me to your channel and without him, I’d be completely lost. I love everyone on your station but Dave is, by far, so very special. While it’s always fun to win, just seeing Dave’s jubilant face and upbeat personality on your show is enough to make my day and always put a huge smile on my face.. He’s an absolute doll.
Wow I didn’t know that perfume lasted longer if kept in the fridge!! Dave your knowledge of beauty products and tips and great sense of humor is amazing!!
I had no idea leaving your perfume in the fridge would add a year of life to it. With those beautiful bottles and the decorative make up containers I just wouldn’t want to hide them in a fridge. Thanks Mr. Lackie!
I love Cityline but Dave Lackie is the most informed Beauty Expert in the world. His intellect, sense of humor and vibrant personality draw so many to your show. He makes beauty fun. I mark my calendar monthly to watch his videos. And the products for this month are the best. And why wouldn’t they be. February 27th is my birthday, 29+ again. I’m a huge Guerlain fan and if there was ever a time I wish I was a member in your audience, this would have been the day as Cityline gave all audience members a bag filled with the most incredible Guerlain products on the market. Oh well.
CityLine, thank you for your generosity but more importantly, thank you for having Dave on your show. If I had only one wish it would be that you keep Dave on your show forever. He has taught this beauty lover so much more about beauty and has introduced me to brands I’ve never tried ,like Guerlain. Unfortunately, I’m now addicted to this line, just another passion that makes it difficult to keep me from overspending on these luxuries. However, he brings so much happiness and knowledge to my life and I adore him and Cityline for recognizing and utilizing his invaluable talents.
