Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream was a global smash when it debuted last summer. The combination of a light, floral scent housed in a whimsical bottle dotted with rubber daisies appealed to fragrance enthusiasts around the world. Marc describes it as embodying a youthful reverie and ethereal charm. This month, a new interpretation of Daisy Dream arrives in store and it is a deeper version of the signature’s key notes of blackberry, blue wisteria and white woods. I describe it as a little stronger in mood leaving a lasting impression of its luxurious floralcy, airy succulence and velvety dry down.
Daisy Dream Forever
Top notes: Blackberry, grapefruit, pear
Heart notes: Jasmine, lychee, blue wisteria
Base notes: White woods, musks, coconut water
Master perfumer Alberto Morillas is the genius behind this scent. He’s one of the top five fragrance experts in the world and is known for his mastery of floral notes. He blends airy, lightweight florals with character and elegance.
You’ll notice the bottle is tinted a deep translucent blue and wrapped in lace-like frosted blue daisy details. Complementary blue daisy petals adorn the shiny silver cap adding a touch of sophistication. Jacobs himself came up with the packaging design.
I’m particularly excited about this launch gift-with-purchase I spotted. It’s a charming Daisy Dream beach towel – perfect for lazy, summer days. Purchase a large size spray of Daisy Dream at Hudson’s Bay and receive this towel for free while supplies last.
I gave away this bottle of Daisy Dream Forever. I invited readers to review it. I then drew the name Inge S from the U.S. at random. Congrats Inge!

July 16, 2015 at 8:09 pmI love a musk base note. Floral scents alone can be too sweet and overpowering but musk adds depth to any floral scent.
