Buzz-worthy Autumn Beauty & Fragrance Launches You Need To Try

Canada’s prestige beauty industry continues to be among the top performing industries for 2026 growing at 6% year-over-year to $2.2 billion despite ongoing economic uncertainties.

September is the month when global brands launch their most important collections and fragrances of the year. Here are some standouts I showcased on CHCH Morning Live recently:

Marc Jacobs Beauty, $40 to $57

The biggest makeup launch of the year is by fashion designer Marc Jacobs. He has relaunched his beauty collection under a new licensing agreement with Coty and three years of product development and testing. Makeup meets pop art.

Born Star Cream-to-Powder Long-Wear Eyeshadow in matte and metallic finishes promise 14hr crease-proof and smudge-proof wear. Joystick Buildable Cream Blush Stick uses skin-loving ingredients to melt seamlessly into skin. And Legally Bronze Blurring Powder Bronzer, in 8 shades, is a lightweight face bronzer with a natural finish. Available at Sephora.

Clinique Gift-With-Purchase at Shoppers

It’s Clinique Fall 2026 Gift-With-Purchase time at Shoppers (until Sept 16th, 2026) and it is an ideal thank you gift for any nurse you work with. Make a $75 Clinique skincare or colour purchase before taxes and receive a 6-piece gift of deluxe samples in a Rifle Paper Company print pouch. While supplies last.

MAC Lustreglass Stainglass Lip Tint, $33

This innovative made-in-Korea creates a stained-glass glossy colour on lips with added hydration. It’s long-wearing with raspberry seed oil and squalene.

Max Mara Le Parfum, 100 ml, $115

Italian fashion brand Max Mara has just unveiled its first blockbuster fragrance under a new partnership with Shiseido Corp. It’s an elegant woody-floral scent for her with notes of tuberose, addictive vanilla, sandalwood and cedarwood. The bottle is inspired by the brand’s emblematic coat tied with the iconic Max Mara belt and topped with a couture button.

Rabanne One Million Black, 100 ml, $168

This is expected to be one of the biggest men’s fragrance launches of 2026. It’s an amber-vanilla scent for him built around a trio of vanilla notes: Madagascar Vanilla, Bourbon Vanilla and classic vanilla. Perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Quentin Bisch layer notes of pineapple, cardamom, blood orange, coconut, clary sage, tonka bean, rich ebony notes and patchouli. It lasts a full 48 hours. Launching this month at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Viktor and Rolf Bonbon Cola Fizz Eau de Parfum, 50 ml, $115

This sweet and sparkling gourmand fragrance for her or him captures the effervescent pop of an ice cold cola on a hot summer day. It blends notes of fizzy cola, zesty lemon and soft white musk for a refreshing effect. At Sephora
