London fashion House Burberry has just unveiled a new sheer-matte stain lipstick that glides on smoothly and dries to a powdery, no-fade matte texture. It’s called Lip Velvet Crush and is comes in 12 shades of buildable colour. The moisturizing, weightless formula allows you to build the pigment from a subtle impact to bold hues thanks to a cushion applicator that ensures even coverage.

 

Model and actress Iris Law is the face of the new launch and appears in all the marketing and advertising. “What I find beautiful is when anyone accepts themselves for who they are,” she says commenting on the campaign that celebrates individuality and creativity. Iris cast her eclectic group of friends, capturing intimate portraits on location in London.

 

“Apply Lip Velvet Crush and rub the lips together to work the colour into the lips for a stained effect,” advises celebrity makeup artist Wendy Rowe. “For a natural stain effect, use a dry Q-Tip to soften the edges of the lips. For a more defined effect, dip a cotton bud into the sponge applicator and trace around the lip line.” She says you can even apply the product to the apples of your cheeks to create a flushed blush look.
