Dave’s Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle Paradise Garden Eau de Parfum Giveaway
This month, I have an extra special giveaway for my website. It is one of the most beautiful Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance bottles. It’s called La Belle Paradise Garden, an amber-floral fragrance for her. The packaging was inspired by Gaultier’s Autumn-Winter 2010-2011 Autumn/Winter fashion show where he captivated the spirit of Eden abounding with forbidden pleasures. You’ll notice the embroidered botanical necklace featuring colourful couture touches sits over a blue-lagoon naked bottle. It’s a work of art.
This floral-amber fragrance layers notes of blue water lily, iris and vanilla nectar. It was blended by perfumer Quentin Bisch. He describes it as having aphrodisiac qualities.
THE GIVEAWAY: I was excited to have a collector Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle Paradise Garden Eau de Parfum to give away to one lucky follower. To enter, I asked readers to tell me in a blog post comment below how they would rate this bottle design on a scale of 1 to 10 and tell me if bottle design ever influences their decision to buy a scent. August 1, 2024 at 12:47 pmGorgeous blue/turquoise colour of the bottle. I like it when the bottle matches the notes of the perfume, in this case the blue matches the blue water lily. I’ve never heard of this note before but it sounds perfect for the paradise theme. I would rate the design an 8/10. I wonder if the appliqué florals and bird combo comes off the bottle or if it’s attached. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased perfume based on bottle design but I remember I was gifted a Jean Paul Gaultier perfume years and years ago. It was the Classique EDP with the lace design. It was so very beautiful!

August 1, 2024 at 12:10 pmIt’s a really pretty bottle and I like the fact that it follows the signature torso silhouette the necklace is a cute addition so I will give it a 7. To be honest, bottles do influence my purchase. Since I was young I’ve always liked pink and bows so I was happy to find Bonbon by Viktor and Rolf and Mon Paris by YSL. I really like the fragrance and it makes for a cute decoration.

The intricate and elegant design captures a sense of luxury and allure that complements the fragrance itself. As for bottle design influencing my decision to buy a scent, it definitely plays a role. A beautifully designed bottle can enhance the overall experience of the fragrance, making it feel more special and indulgent. While the scent is the most crucial factor, an attractive bottle adds an extra layer of appeal and can sometimes sway my decision towards a purchase.
